The Gilded Edge
Opened in 2007 by long-time picture framer, artist, and Upper Valley local Rob Jenisch, The Gilded Edge has been the Upper Valley’s go-to frame shop. After spending nearly 10 years on Main St. in Hanover, NH, Rob moved the shop to a location in nearby Lebanon, NH where he could better accommodate his growing customer base. With the new shop, he gained not only store-front parking (!) but more space to create and share art. From simple single-mat frames, to something much more elaborate, The Gilded Edge will make your art really shine!

Rob Jenisch
Not only the owner of the shop, but also a framer and artist in his own right, Rob has been picture framing for 20+ years. He got his start at the Camera Shop of Hanover, and was there for approximately 10 years. Upon the passing of the Camera Shop’s owner — Oscar Romero — Rob decided to buy up the framing equipment and use it to keep picture framing in Hanover. His passion for gilding (both frames and glass) inspired the name for the shop. Rob loves art and sharing that love with others. He also loves birds. You may find him communing with the ducks on the bank of the river behind the shop, sometimes with a camera in tow.
